The fifth day of the Strand 2 Plenary session. The draft minute of the fourth session is agreed; the Irish Government continues to answer questions on its opening statement; a brief media release is agreed.
MINUTE OF FOURTH PLENARY MEETING OF STRAND 2 HELD AT PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS, BELFAST, ON WEDNESDAY 15 JULY 1992
1. The draft minute of the third plenary session was agreed.
2. The Chairman reported on the meeting of the Business Committee held before the plenary session, which had agreed a timetable for the week's plenary sessions and had also agreed to hold further meetings after each plenary session.
3. Members of the Irish Government delegation continued to answer questions from other delegations on their opening statement. In the course of this they agreed to table a paper on Protestant demographic trends in the South.
4. A brief statement was agreed for issue to the media.
