Wyoming State Constitutional Convention 1889

The Wyoming Constitution Convention began September 2, 1889 without the authorization from an enabling act. The articles were individually voted on, creating the final Constitution of Wyoming on September 30, 1889. It was later ratified on November 5, 1889.

The committee was referred a substitution for files no. 17 and 40, a file on Police Powers, and a file on Chinese Labor. The file on Police Powers was referred back to the Convention. The committee drafted an article on Chinese Labor and an article on Boards of Arbitration and referred them along with the report of the committee to the Convention for consideration.
