Wyoming State Constitutional Convention 1889

The Wyoming Constitution Convention began September 2, 1889 without the authorization from an enabling act. The articles were individually voted on, creating the final Constitution of Wyoming on September 30, 1889. It was later ratified on November 5, 1889.

WYOMING.

Cheyenne, Sept 11 1889

Resolved:

That the General Assembly shall provide for and regulate the salaries of all county officers in proportion to the amount of taxable property in the several counties and that such law shall establish scales of fees to be changed and collected by said county officers or such of them as may be provided by law and that all such fees when collected shall be covered into the treasury of the county in which they were collected
