Resolved That a message be sent to the Senate to inform that body that a quorum of the House of Representatives is assembled; that FREDERICK H. GILLETT, a Representative from the State of Massachusetts has been elected Speaker; that William Tyler Page, a citizen of the State of Maryland, has been elected Clerk; and that the House is ready for business.
